First Couple Days – Trip Back 2006

Crazy run up to the end of school, basically punctuated by packing the car all night, studying a little (two highest exam scores of the term!) and not sleeping for 12.5 hours – and that was before I spent the next 6 hours driving to Jacksonville. Pretty uneventful Day 1 (really a half day). Jacksonville seemed nice but small, cool draw bridges (no pictures). Day 2 from Jacksonville to Atlanta, more of the same with many trees and not much else. You could buy some serious land down here, start your own little town and no one would ever really know about it unless they ventured 2 miles from the highway. Atlanta seems nice, but really all these “major cities” are basically the size of Pasadena or Burbank. They may have 2 freeways, most have a freeway that goes in a circle, that’s pretty much it. Either these burgs are ripe for development or people just don’t care about building up their town. Anyways, I’ve put some new pics up on the Flickr site (link in right column of this page). I’ll try and update in the next day or so on Bama, Missipp, Lousana and Big D.
